Red blinking light at bottom of panel indicating lamp replacement
I ordered lamp on line and I had some brownish sand like particles in the lamp cover and around this area. Shop vac'ed this stuff out and
shined a flashlight into the lamp area and I see the square glass
fixed unit in the back has a slight film on it. This is where the lamp
shines into this mirror like glass.
I haven't touched this yet but should this be cleaned? If so, how do
I do it. I can reach it with a soft cloth but I don't want to mess anything
up.
Thanks for the Help Guru. I cleaned off the film with the soft cloth and tried it dry with a soft cloth and it all came off without any
probems. Just waiting for the lamp to show up. thx again, rbThanks for the Help Guru. I cleaned off the film with the soft cloth and tried it dry with a soft cloth and it all came off without any

Hi, 3 times red light blinking indicates that Lamp Cover has not been fixed in its location properly after lamp replacement. Please make sure lamp cover (its first thing that was removed to replace lamp) is installed securely. Thanks.
Make sure properly connected and tightly sure cover put on and screws in,if change projection bulb, still blinking "LAMP" LED indication light. But,if "LAMP"LED indication flashes and making clicking noise.Ur Ballast board also dead.Require replacement, this Ballast board help to ignite the projection bulb.
Red light blinking is an indication of lamp problem. Check and secure tightly the following:
Outside lamp cover
Lamp door
Lamp
If all of the above does not solve the problem, you need to replace the lamp. Let the lamp to cool for 30 minutes after unplugging. Use XL-2400 replacement lamp.
Remove the outside lamp cover.
Remove the lamp door.
Pullout the lamp
Hook a finger through the loop of the lamp handle and pull the handle upwards. Then pull the lamp straight out.
Mount the new lamp securely.
Reattach the lamp door. Turn the knob back to "CLOSE" and secure the cover.

The POWER/STANDBY (red) indicator flashes three times If your power/standby indicator is flashing in a pattern of three flashes, this may indicates that the lamp cover is not attached securely. Follow the directions in the Operating Manual under changing your lamp that related to closing and securing the Lamp Cover. Ensure that the Lamp Cover Door is securely fastened by tightening each screw.
The POWER/STANDBY (red) indicator flashes continously If your power/standby indicator is flashing continuously, and the lamp cover has been secured, your TV may be in need of service.
The POWER/STANDBY indicator is lit up green (not flashing) A sustained green light indicates your TV is on.
The POWER/STANDBY indicator is lit up red (not flashing) A sustained red light from your power/standby indicator simply indicates that your TV is in standby mode. This shows you that your TV is ready to be turned on with the remote.
Is it the power light and not the lamp light? If the lamp light is flashing then replace the lamp.
remove front panel under screen, rove screws from lamp access panel cover. then remove the screws from the lamp assembly housing pull lamp housing straight out. install new lamp in the housing and slide the cartridge back into set replace screws and access panel cover.

probems. Just waiting for the lamp to show up. thx again, rb
