5 in 1 media card reader will automatically read from the card in slot if it is one of the 5 supported formats. Hope this helps.

Where do i stick my sd with adapter on my dell inspiron 1545

Most portable SD stick readers come with a USB connection so you just stick it into any spare USB port (see USB adaptor pic).
If you have an SD to SD adaptor that fits a small SD card into a larger SD card holder (see SD adaptor pic) then you also need one of the SD stick readers (above)

Where do i install the camera memory card into my laptop

According to the manufacture web site that model has a - • 4-in-1 Bridge Media Adapter, with Secure Digital, Secure Digital High Capacity, Memory Stick™, Memory Stick PRO™, Multi Media Card™ [shared slots]
So basically you need to look for just one slot, and you have to use one of those memory formats, If your using something else then it wouldn't work, You'll need a USB adapter that will read your type of media, The slot looks like its on the front edge of the laptop. It'll be a pretty small slot across the front, about where your left thumb would be. Its possible you have a model that didnt have one. The Bridge Media Adapter slot (available on certain models) supports the use of Memory Stick,, Memory Stick™ PRO, Secure Digital™ (SD™), MMC™ (MultiMediaCard™), or xD-Picture Card™ media. These media can be used with a variety of digital products: digital music players, cellular phones, PDAs, digital cameras, digital video camcorders, etc.
Lots of good info and owners manual at. http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=SB&os=&category=&moid=2221250&rpn=PSLB8U&modelFilter=L300-ST3502&selCategory=2756709&selFamily=1073768663
hopefully you can just click on all that,,,,,,

I brought the acer 7540-1284 laptop, wheres the 5 in 1 card reade

The 5-in-1 card reader is a slot or slots on the laptop (typically on one of the 2 sides, not the back). You can use it for SD cards and other removable media.

As for a manual, you can download the Start Guide here:

Do you need an adapter 4 a memory stick pro duo in a 5 in 1 read

No, just insert the Memory Card in the 5-in-1 Card Reader slot. The Memory Card will appear on the "My Computer" or "Computer" window. Click on that to open the contents of the Memory Card.

Good Luck!!!!!!

Bent pins on Gateway Solo 1450 pcmcia slot.

It would be difficult to remove and replace the PCMCIA slot on any laptop. Buy her a USB wireless adapter from Linksys or DLink. It would be easier and less expensive for you.

I have a Gateway MT6840 notebook that will not recognize a SanDisk media card. I have a media card slot, but when I enter a card; Nothing.

If your using an HC media card in an older media reader, it will not work. Purchase a late model external reader.
