Any error starting with a 300 series on a PC is the keyboard. Make sure it is plugged in correctly and check the Device Manager to make sure it does not have any conflicts.

System options not set hp compaq dc 7600

Make sure your clear cmos jumper is not in the clear position! It is usually close to the battery and there is labelling on the mboard near it. If you're sure you didn't move it, then don't worry about that.Did you try setting the bios to defaults?
One possibility - it could be it does this if you don't re-set at least the date (and possibly the time) in the bios from the default it sets itself to when you remove the battery or use clear cmos - set it to today's date and time, or to anything other than the default, save settings.
If after you save the above settings, turn off the computer for a few minutes, and check the bios again, the date and time re-sets to defaults, then the cmos doesn't see the battery. If the date and time are consistant with what you set them to, it is seeing the battery.
By the way, I don't think this is the problem because you have the 162 error code, but make sure the battery polarity is right - is in the holder the right way - and the contacts for it are making good contact - if it is the wrong way or the contacts are poor, the cmos will think there is no battery. Usually you can tell by the way the contacts are arranged which way it goes - if it is the wrong way both contacts touch the same part of the coin cell (if that is what you have) - usually + is upwards.
Make sure your clear cmos jumper is not in the clear position!
If setting the bios to defaults, setting the date (to anything other than the default) does not get rid of the error message, try making sure everything on the board is properly seated. Unplug the computer when you do that!
.....
.........it says memory error, below that it says 162 System Options not set, then it says 164 error.
162 System Options not set
(later)
I just took everything that would unplug and reset them in and it corrected the problem. Thanks
That error code is common on many computers, and in many bioses.
e.g.
161 POST Error - System options not set - (Run SETUP) - battery
162 POST Error - System options not set - (Run SETUP)
161 System options not set; dead battery
162 System options not set; CMOS checksum/configuration error
If it is 161 the battery is dead, it is installed with the polarity backwards, or the battery contacts are not making good contact.
If it is 162, there is nothing wrong with the battery - you need to go into the bios Setup.
I have found nothing other than the above post about what to do about that.

Linksys router password

To reset the Linksys back to the default settings - Press and hold the pinhole RESET button at the back of the router with the power ON for 20 secs. then release the RESET button.
To connect to your wireless router, the router's wireless settings needs to be configured with the SSID, encryption etc. and also the wireless cards in all the laptops/computers needs to be configured with these router's wireless settings. Then the laptops/desktop computers can communicate with your wireless router.
Connect a LAN cable from the Linksys to the LAN port on your computer.
Open a browser and enter the Linksys configuration URL
http://192.168.1.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = admin
You can protect your router by changing the default admin PW (write it down and put it in a safe place)
Go to the wireless configuration and set up the SSID and WPA or WPA2 encryption to protect your wireless network and Internet from unauthorized access.
Now apply these settings to the wireless card in your laptop/computer.

What is the correct configuration for bios

Hi dianneruss56,
I see you are asking about the correct configuration of you system BIOS.
To set the BIOS on your Machine to what it was before you will just have to set it back to defaults.
Once in the BIOS page press F9 once the it should ask you if you want to go ahead and set it to defaults just click yes then press F10 to save and exit this should reset everything to defaults setting for you in your BIOS.
I hope this helps.

Severe Windows corruption - the file that keeps all the configuration settings is missing or corrupted.
If you don't have a backup of the registry then you will have to reinstall Windows.

I'm trying to reconnect an Intel Moutherboard and can't seem to get the right configuration.

If you are talking about the configuration in the BIOS, then select the default settings, reboot and see what needs to be changed, if anything. Usually the default settings will at least let you get the machine up and running and then you'll have to tweak the settings to get things back the way you want them.

I bought my acer aspirem5810 on 1/1/2010 and i used the shrink to have more partition and then when i wanted to creat the factory default disc i have an error which''the hard drive configuration is not set...

Hi, unfortunately, when you changed the formatting to (Shrink); this changes the Original settings from the Factory settings. You may need to make a copy using the factory / default setting firsts; then change the settings to shrink formatting, making a separate copy to CD. Thanks paul7of9

Get error 323 - restore the factory defaults for your router - reset router to factory - cannot access new router or gateway

Once you've reset it to factory defaults, you'll probably need to establish your initial connection to it using a Cat 5 cable - possibly crossover. Then you can visit it's internal web page (address in manual) to enable WiFi, etc.

What model was that?
