Otherwise; you paid for the music, should have no wrong feelings about downloading the music again as MP3s for free if you find it, or ripping a buddy's CD. S'what I did for my wife.

Songs purchased through iTunes are protected with DRM and cannot be placed on any MP3 players that aren't iPods.
