If you disconnect the battery for 1 minute the check engine light will reset itself and should go off. The only thing is that if there is a problem that the computer detects after you reconnect the battery and start it up , the check engine light will come back on. If it does the best thing to do is take it to a shop and have it checked for codes and see what is causing the problem.
Best of luck and let me know if this helps you.

Need to drain last bit of power from accessories lights radio anything powered turn off key disconnect both the negative cable first then positive and preferably place some type of protection over battery cardboard would work. Touch both the terminals together and leave them at least 10 minutes or I have went overnight. Replace cables positive first and start engine your light will be off if there's a problem detected the light will come back on.
Sounds like you may have spun some bearings in lower part of the engine if you hear metal to metal sound and had no oil pressure.Serious engine damage!!
manufacturer decided they wanted a unique system of fuel injection, at least different then that of most systems. The control valve may act up and not allow fuel to inject at intervals. Instead, it may take be clogged with debri, gunk, and other trash which needs to be serviced in a shop to be repaired. One very common activity with your fuel injector is it may cause the valve to stay closed and burn gas in a manner that is inconsistent with normal gas usage, the vehicle will start to blow out black and dark smoke out the rear end, trick your cars oxygen sensor, and allow the system to burn a larger amount of fuel for the same mileage. This problem needs to be solved in a shop where the equipment is available to make adjustments and flush out your system.
Hey Guys.. This problem is the Coil Packs. There is a recall out on all 1.8t Motors. If you haven't had an issue, its no rush but should be completed. If you have the sputtering, low power, struggle from the engine, bring it in to an Audi/VW dealer. They'll fix it free of charge. Done and Done.
I also have a nissan titan 05, and i was having the same problems, checked it out and it turn out to be some kinda fuel pump sensor that wasn't working properly and (lagging) the gas from going to the motor which could be the cause of the spudders ur getting. Fortunetly for me i still have the warranty for it and got it fixed.
Shacking or light vibration on you brake pedal, steering wheel kinda vibrates when you apply your brakes. It could be several things.
1. You might just need new brakes, because if it's shaking when you brake then that means your brake pads are seriously worn out and the brake metal is grinding with your rotors, this would make a loud squickie noise when baking. and can damage your rotors to the point they can't be fixed anymore.
2. You might need an alignment.
3. Your callipters could be broken and causing a rough shaking when the brakes are applied. (This can be very dangerous if driving like that.)
I suggest you take it to the shop and do a diagnostic to find out what's wrong.
Regarding your expired warranty: You should call them and ask if your truck qualifies for and extended warranty and set you up with a low monthy payment if your not able to pay it in full. They will ask for your miles that your truck has and they will make their discision based on that to see if you qualify or not. You won't loose nothing by trying.
These kind of repairs can be very expensive, and even more expensive if you don't fix them right away, so it's always good to have some type of insurance or warranty to cover that and a mechanic you can trust.
The 1st thing to do is find out what codes are stored in the PCM.
