Almost all electric oven are two twenty, but a voltage tester is a good idea, look at the breaker for it, if it is a double pool it probably is the red and white should both have 110 to the white wire, I hope this helps, God Bless.

How to hook up electrical? 220v single phase? What color wires on which connections of the plug?

Identify the prongs. If you have wired a 110-volt fixture or plug, then you are aware that the different prongs connect to different colors of wires. The same principle holds true for 220-volt plugs, and this is very important to keep from tripping the circuit breaker. A three-prong plug will connect to two colored wires that each supply 110 volts and a bare copper wire which is the ground. One of these colored wires will be black, while the other one should be red, white, or blue. The four-prong plugs connect to a black and a red wire that each supply 110 volts, a white neutral wire, and a bare copper ground wire.

What is the ground & neutral wire for a JPK15 GE Oven?

Assuming this is in the USA there are 3 wires normally in a 240 volt circuit. A black, red and white. Sometimes there is a bare ground wire. The white wire and bare ground wire are basically the same. They connect to the same place in the electrical box. The red and black are your power wires. They would connect top the outside connectors and the white and bare wire (if supplied) would connect to the center connector.

The US National Electrical Code only mandates white (or grey) for the neutral power conductor and bare copper, green, or green with yellow stripes for the protective ground. Power will generally be black or red. 3 phase power will have three colored lines, the first is generally black or brown, the second red or orange, and the third blue or yellow..
i,e,
Yellow/Green is Earth so 'E'. Brown is live so 'L', and Blue is neutral so 'N'.

I removed an old wall oven, and the wires coming out of the wall are black, red, pink, and ground. the new oven has black, red, WHITE , and ground. Does pink go to white?

It should go to white. but to double check you should use meter to check if you have 110 Volts between the pink and the Black and 110 Volts between the pink and the red. and 220 between Black and Red

Hope this answers all your questions

JTP56 Electric Double Oven Dead after self-clean. Power Pigtail comes into back of top control enclosure in flex conduit. The three red, black, white conductors are spliced to 2 molex connectors. I am...

I doubt there is a fuse on the pigtail, it sounds like your black wire is grounded somewhere. Check black to red, if you get 120 or close to it, your black is shorted to ground.

Hi just wondering about 240 volt. What is the black wire and what is the red one and green and yellow....Which one is L1- N- E

The black wire is Half of the 240 volts. Both the black and red wires carry 120 volts to make 240 volts. The green wire is going to be your grounding wire. The yellow wir is more than likely your neutral wire (although that goes against the electrical code). Tie in L1 to either black or red. Attach the yellow to n. I hae no idea what the E stands for. What color and how many wire are coming from the oven?

Admiral Clean-O-Matic oven: Power cord black red white ground?

Your terminal block has been by-passed .
Hook your black cord wire to the black screw on the terminal block.
Hook your white wire to the white screw on the terminal block. Hook the bare ground to the exterior ground screw.
The 2 wires that are wire-nutted together will have to hook to the red wire on the cord.(they originally went to the third connection on the terminal).
You will probably have to cut and strip the red cord wire and attach it with the 2 wire-nutted connections.

sounds as if you need an electrician, the red is a "hot" lead and if not at the wall id say you have the wrong power supply at location

What coloured wires go where on the main oven thermostat

If you are speaking of the 240v connection to hook up the oven to the electrical source, then white is the neutral(white to white), black is one of the 240v hot wires(black to black), and red is the other 240v hot wire(red to red).
Finally there is a bare or green color ground wire that goes to the bare or green wire form your source.
normally, the two outside wires on a terminal strip are the hot wires and the middle onif the neutral(white). It does not matter which wire(red or black) goes to what hot terminal at the appliance.
If you are talking about the internal wiring, I can get you a schematic of that.
