if it doesn't spin, the motor spindle contacts are broken, and you'll need to replace the motor, and possibly the whole optical pickup (lens and motor assembly. you might be able to get one from mcm electronics on line, but you'll have to put it in yourself if you don't know anyone who can. you could always contact denon and they'll find the closest service center to you. good luck.

Sync problem with denon dns3000

I'm having a similar problem with my denon dp-300f. It seems to *ever so slightly* increase or decrease in speed (and therefore pitch)...I might not even notice it very often if I wasn't listening to my favorites. I have not found a solution to this problem, but my hunch is related to the power source. Meaning: I think the voltage output by my apartment is slightly sagging (<120V, AC ~60Hz...which most appliances can deal with) and this affects the speed of the motor that drives the belt. I'm looking into isolating this factor. I'll let you know.

Denon DCM 5000 error code

The disc is loaded upside-down in the disc rack or the disc is dirty or scratched, try another disc and make sure the top side (label side with printing) is facing towards the back of the rack, away from you. The bottom or data side should face out towards the front of the rack. If that does not work then your laser picups inside may need cleaning. Make sure your disc is clean and now scratches.

No dish network sound through denon 1609 receiver

check the setting for the HDMI connection at the Denon you may have to assign the HDMI audio setting also on the front of the Denon while in the DVR mode press the input mode button on the front of the Denon to select auto and if that doesn;t give you sound you will have to connect a cable from the DVR optical.coaxial or analog audio output to the Denon and setup for that type of audio connection

Platter quit spinning

Sounds like the motor drive controller might be malfunctioning. An authorized Denon service center would have to take a look at it to make sure.
