Question about RCA P46812BL 46" Rear Projection Television
RCA Model P46813BL Chas PTK195AA I moved into my new home plug in my tv and it worked fine for about two weeks and when I went to turn it on one day the colrs on the set were seperate Red Green Blue there use to be a convergence adjust option in the menue but it's no longer there can you help me I have been searching convergence boards but I'm having no luck
It is probably the convergence Power supply usually mounted above the main boards below. Most of them use a STK730-010 amp that is usually the problem, if not some used a little FET instead. It seems that PCB is available probably listed as a power supply rather than a convergence bd though

Joshtv poster that the problem was probably the convergence board power supply. I tried what he said by first checking if I had that component in my tv - which I did. I looked on ebay for that part number - and bought the part for $1.30us. There were 11 pins on the power supply (had to desolder it then remove it and place the new part in it's place and solder each of the 11 pins - always be careful not to overheat the leads as you solder them - use a heat sink if you can to avoid damaging the power supply). The tv worked fine after that.
