Question about KitchenAid Superba Architect KSCS25INSS Side by Side Refrigerator
After reading the others comments, it could be the motor or the line, however the one thing that I did not see with the others, if that the light on the inside of the freezer (where you can turn the ice maker on or off) is blinking red. What does that mean? What should I do?
Answer provided to me, by KitchenAid customer service: "Thank you for taking the time to write with your inquiry and concern regarding your appliance Your emails are extremely important to us and would like to apologize for any delays in responding to them. We are working diligently to replying to all of our customers. The blinking red light that you reported is normal. Your refrigerator uses an infrared beam of light to detect the level of the ice in your ice bin. Because this beam is not visible to the naked eye, a red LED light will blink every time the refrigerator checks the ice level. This may happen when the door is opened, but it is merely an indicator that it is functioning properly. If you have any other questions or concerns about your KitchenAid appliances, please don't hesitate to let us know. You can reach us by replying to this message, or by calling us toll-free at 1-800-422-1230."
