Computer Crashes When using this Netgear device

Basicly my computer crashes when i use the Netgear WPN311 Wireless PCI adapter. I've tried disabling the LAN, still it crashes. I thought it might be a hardware problem however i tried it out on a friends computer and it worked fine. The difference between our computers is that he has Intel P4 Proccessors and i have Duel Core Athlon. I thought this may be the problem, but if it was im sure there would be some kind of warning about the conflict. Please help me. It seems to crash when i use the internet alot. E.g downloads, msn, internet explorer etc. It appears to work ok if i slowly browse the internet. Thanks for you time.

Won't detect usb from cd instalation

Have you read the instructions.
Have you disconnected usb while installing disc, this is important.Wait till the installation tells you to plug in the usb adapter, then the driver will detect the adapter at the port because it is now searching for it.Good Luck.

Windows Vista crashes when I connect my Linksys wusb54g wireless adapter. It worked fine for about 3 months, then started crashing, now I can't have it connected, or it crashes instantly.

This is a software conflict of the linksys device to your system, so to correct this remove first the software from your computer and then after that restart the computer and then connect the adapter on different usb port , if still having the same problem i will suggest that you have the device replace.....

Need to know where I can get driver download.

Possible causes:
1)The Operating System on the computer might not support the Plug & Play feature or need latest system updates.
2)The USB port or PCI slot on the computer might be faulty.
3)Extension cable (if being used) that connects the USB adapter and the computer might be faulty.
4)There is no driver support for the Operating system.
1)LED will not light up on the adapter.
2)Found New Hardware Wizard does not come up.
1) Make sure you meet the minimum system requirements for the adapter and have the latest updates on the computer.
2)Use the latest driver for the adapter. Latest drivers link is mentioned below.
3)Try a different USB port or PCI slot on the computer.
4)Try another device and check if it gets detected.
5)Try to connect the adapter directly to the computer without using an extension cable.
6)Try restarting the computer or try adapter on a different computer.

Open the below link and try to download the latest version of the driver

No power to keyboard or mouse

this sound like an IRQ resource conflict, you may need to use another kind of PCI adapter.

you may either refer to netgear's tech support for recommendations of which device will best work for your machine.
