I have a mitisubishi vs 50605. when you turn the power on all i get is a blue line. any ideas

First thing on a Dead VZ7 to check is the solder connection at the yokes "DY" Connector. Then Check C411 2200uf @ 35V
Then C412 10uf @50V. Then Check IC700 Pin 20 for 0VDC any voltage other than 0VDC on that pin means Diode D980 is leaky.

no those tvs came with a black otuer screen that have rough ridges . If your screen is blue, someone may have replaced it with a dark colored plastic. You can get replacement screens at the following link, They are exspensive though.

CHECK C2P05 100 UFD 16 V OFF PIN 3 OF IC2P01 AND IC2P01 PART # 270P466020 (9-VOLT REGULATOR). BOTH ARE ON THE SIGNAL PCB.2). CHECK C2P05 100 UFD 16 V OFF PIN 3 OF IC2P01 AND IC2P01 PART # 270P466020 (9-VOLT REGULATOR). BOTH ARE ON THE SIGNAL PCB. 3).
