Question about PC Desktops

1 Answer

Software is not loading properly.

I bought "Are you smarter than a fifth grader" software.

My system requirements for the software are met. The graphics (the detail of the characters and some colors that create the words on the screen specifically) are either non-existant or not 100%. The video requires a 64 MB card. Mine is 64 MB shared. Does that make a difference or could there be another problem?

Cannot get into games

First of all make sure that your system meets the requirements for this generations online games. Pentium 4 and above, at least 256mb memory ram, at least 64 mb video card.

Online games surely needs a special software that will enable the loading of the game graphics. Direct X was the widely used supports for online games.

For some games like yahoo and facebook games, it will need a special software like Adobe Flash Player to help the games load its graphics and animations.

Have this requirements and software and you can play the games that you want in no time.

When i try and load creator9 i get a message that the certificate is missing

This is a precaution that Microsoft uses to help prevent any software get loaded that could possibly harm the system or not operate properly.

If you trust the software maker, go ahead and click "continue anyway" and load the software.
I am guessing that the "creator 9" software you are loading is the Roxio Easy Media Creator 9. If so, you should not have any problems just from loading it.

I have the same software and received that same window when I loaded it, but since then I have upgraded to Creator 10 not long after that and it is much better.

As time passes and you load more and more software, you will probably see that message a few times when loading software.

it does not mean that the software is bad, just that it has not been tested by microsoft and given a certificate as being compatible with the operating system.

Just don't load any software that has come from questionable places, and it would be a good idea to scan anything you plan to use with your anti-virus software first to make sure it is clean.

If you found this information helpful, a good rating is always appreciated :)

Try to verify the video card requirment of the software your using. Or the system requirement of the software.

Try to verify if you install the video adapter driver of your system. if you have not install, you must install it to support your application software.

Plug ins' are bits of extra software that are attached to browsers and other forms of software. If you mean AOL then the software has not loaded properly and will require a re install, which is also the same problem as java script. Make sure you have th latest java installed first. http://www.java.com/en/download/index.jsp
