You can always save your playlists by clicking on Export option under files tab and it will save the playlist as .txt file.

Try searching if you have saved your playlist in .txt format

I have a problem to download music.

Hi,

As with much to do with the iPhone, there's a bit of a trick to getting this working smoothly so you can have control over your iPhone music, while keeping it as darn easy to work with as possible. The answer? Create a custom playlist for your iPhone music library.
Let me show you how to do it - it's pretty darn easy.
Pop into iTunes and choose File --> New Playlist. Now rename it to something logical: I use "iPhone Sync":
itunes-playlists-iphone.png

Now you can just drag and drop music from your iTunes library (in iTunes, needless to say) into this new playlist. When you're ready, you'll see a bunch of music happily ensconced in the playlist (remember, it's all just "pointers": the actual music files are still safely in the main music library, so if you delete something from a playlist , you haven't deleted the original music file itself):

At the bottom of the iTunes window it shows you how many songs are in the playlist, along with the size and total playing time.
At this point, you need to plug in your iPhone if you haven't already done so. It'll pop up the usual summary screen:

Now click on the "Music" tab and you'll see that you can select "sync playlist". Do that, then select the new iPhone sync playlist you've created

Set things up and that's all there is to it. Now click "Sync" in iTunes and it'll synchronize your playlist with the iPhone music library and next time you click on that ole' "iPod" button on the iPhone, your selections from you music library will be present.
Oh, and one really nice feature of creating this playlist is that you can manage it, adding and deleting songs to your heart's desire, even without your iPhone present. Whatever changes you make are instantly applied to your iPhone music library the very next time you synchronize the device. Suddenly even 8GB might feel small. :-)

Regards

Downloading music to Ipod from a computer that has a link to another ipod without erasing it. can i use 2 ipods on the same computer.

Easily, you will have to go into the itunes settings and configure it to manually transfer/sync songs and playlists. After that you can move files from your computer directly onto your ipod via drag and drop or you can create a playlist and place the playlist on your ipod in itunes via drag and drop.

Trying to download music into my ipod but for some reason i can't doit

First of all check if your ipod is set to auto sync. To check this you need to:
1. connect ipod 2. click on the ipod icon and see if 'manually mange music and videos' is unchecked. 3. if it is then go to the 'music' tab 4. Manually choose your artists, playlists, genres etc to download/sync music from itunes to ipod.
If by download you mean getting music from itunes store directly from ipod then go to Settings > Store and see if your account information is accurate and that you have rights to purchase music.
After verifying this you can go to music store and download your purchased music.

Just got a mini 2gb mp3 player and don't have the

Plug your mp3 player into a usb port. You will have to choose what you want to do. You want to sync with Windows Media Player if that is where your music is. Make sure you are on the sync tab. On WMP, choose your music by making a playlist,(Just drag files over to new playlist on the right.) Now, after you have chosen your files, click on the little arrow on the sync tab. Click on "sync playlist to device" It will then add these files to your player. Now if you had wanted to make a cd, you would click on the burn tab.

Download iTunes from Acer notebook to iPod nano 8gb

iPod offers three ways to transfer music from your computer. You can select one of the following update modes from the iPod Preferences menu in iTunes:
1. Automatically update all songs and playlists. This is the default mode, in which your entire music library, including playlists, is automatically synched to your iPod. If the music library on your computer exceeds the iPod storage capacity, iTunes will offer to choose a selection of songs to sync to iPod.
2. Automatically update selected playlists. With this option, iTunes automatically copies only the playlists you have selected to iPod when you connect it to the computer. This option can be selected by accessing the Music tab of the iPod settings.
3. Manually manage music. You can also choose to transfer music to iPod manually. This allows you to drag and drop individual songs and playlists from iTunes to iPod. You can find this option by accessing the Summmary tab of the iPod settings.

How do I download music to my MP3 Shuffle?

The easiest way is to import the tracks into iTunes (available from the Apple Com site) and then when you connect the shuffle to your pc iTunes will want to sync it. Under the music tab for the iPods main screen in iTunes you can select playlists you want to sync to your Shuffle. So transfer tracks in the main 'Library' on iTunes into a playlist you create by clicking the + symbol at the bottom left of iTunes.

For better instructions than I can give here you download the Shuffle guide here (http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iPod_shuffle_Features_Guide.pdf)
Hope that helps you.

Downloading my music and then burning to a cd

Have you read the section of manual relating to 'Importing CDs' ?

Select a playlist, press 'playlist edit' - press HD/CD - insert CD, close drawer. Once Alesis has scanned disc, press 'track move' - display should read Move CDTrk -> Trknn where 'nn' is the next available track in playlist. Press Cursor Left to place cursor under CDTrk, press Down/No, and display should read Move CD->Playlist. If you now hit Yes it will copy all CD tracks to the active playlist (it'll prompt if the playlist isn#'t empty to make sure you want to add the CD to the tracks already in the playlist).

Once they are copied to the playlist, you can move them around if required, DSP them, then burn that playlist to a blank CD

How to download

If you are asking how to add songs to you iPod
(assuming you want to use iTunes)

Sync your iPod with iTunes
4d26eb7.jpg

  1. Connect your iPod to your computer.
  2. When the iPod icon appears in the iTunes window (below Devices), select it.
  3. If the Summary pane isn't showing, click the Summary tab.
  4. To automatically sync your iPod:
    1. Make sure that "Manually manage music" is not selected.
    2. Click the Music tab and do one of the following:
    3. To automatically update your iPod with all the songs and playlists in your library, select "Sync music" and then select "All songs and playlists." iTunes loads the songs and playlists in your iTunes library onto your iPod, and deletes songs from your iPod that aren't in your library.
    4. To automatically update your iPod with only certain playlists, select "Sync music" and "Selected playlists," and then select the playlists you want synchronized.
  5. To manually sync your iPod:
    1. Make sure that "Manually manage music" is selected.
    2. Click Music (below Library, on the left side of the iTunes window) and then drag songs and playlists to your iPod.
