Question about Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527 Notebook
I have a Toshiba Laptop which I purchased in 2007. I had the Vista
operating system replaced with an XP Professional operating system. I have not been able to send/receive email. Can someone help me to set up an emailing program?
This is not an OS problem. It is a configuration problem with your email client. Your best bet is to contact your ISP and get them provide you with the settings.
If you are using AT&T, they got hacked last year and changed their ports from 110 & 25 to secure ports 995 & 465. Many people (including AT&T technicians and many IT pros) are not aware of the other changes you have to make with these settings.
