There are products such as VideoSecu PC to TV Presentation Converter. I haven't used them. I'm not sure you are going to get the resolution that you want. A DLP projector does a pretty good job. I know that is not what you are looking for.

Type "PC to TV Converter" in Google. They are about $40 to $60 bucks. Before you buy one, read the reviews.

I would like to connect my PC to TV Grundig GU32DVD to wacth a movie from internet on a tv screen What should i do

Hi there,
Once you're TV is connected to the PC. Go to the display settings and check if the computer detects multiple monitors. Identify the monitors and set your TV as the main monitor. If this a laptop there is also a switch that will let you toggle from the PC display to the TV.
Check the TV output some TV's needs the channel to be set to the output where the PC is connected.
Some says PC some may say VGA or RGB. (depends on the brand of your TV)
Once that is the output channel is set and the cable is connected then you should be able to use your TV as the monitor and watch that movie.
Hope this helps!

WHAT TYPE OF CABLE DO I NEED TO CONNECT HP NC6400 LAPTOP TO HD TV TO WATCH MOVIE ON TV FROM LAPTOP? VGA TO HDMI CABLE? THANKS

Hi.

The best way is to get a s-video converter to connect your round s-video computer output to your HDMI port on your tv. This is the best you can do according to your laptop connections. You will need a s-video cable, HDMI upscale converter box and HDMI cable.

The other way is to plug a VGA cable to your tv VGA port if you have one.

VGA to HDMI is also possible with a converter. A standard VGA cable with a HDMI plug on the other side will not work because your computer sends out an analog video signal and HDMI is digital only.

Hope it helps!

Hi Guy's I have an Acer Aspire 5315 laptop and a 32" Bush flatscreen TV. What cable do I need to connect the 2 to watch movies etc Cheers

Use a 15-pin, male-to-male VGA cable to connect your laptop to your TV. male-to-male means the pins are sticking out on both ends. Since both ends are male, you'll need to find the female VGA input on your laptop and on your TV. This is often called the PC input. Now, connect one end into the TV and one end into the PC. On a Mac, the VGA input is conveniently labeled with a "display" icon. It's recommended that you do this with everything powered off.

Can I connect my Toshiba NB 205 to my TV to watch etflix movies? the netbook has a VGA out, and the TV has S-cable and HDMI inputs. Thanks!

Interfaces 1 x Display / video - VGA - 15 pin HD D-Sub (HD-15) , 1 x Network - Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX - RJ-45 , 1 x Microphone - Input - Mini-phone 3.5 mm , 1 x Headphones - Output - Mini-phone stereo 3.5 mm , 3 x Hi-Speed USB - 4 pin USB Type A

The above interfaces are in your laptop. There is no S-cable or HDMI interface.
If your TV have VGA port you can connect your TV to the VGA port in laptop. This will alow you to convert the TV as monitor.

You should be able to connect using vga if the TV has a vga input. Once it is hooked up you can toggle the display using the key combination fn+f5.
