The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Needs a little brute force. Release all screws you can find. At the bottom above the o of the word Sony is a plastic lip (or clip) which you cannot see, but holds the camera together.
Do be affraid to pull a bit and it will come off.

My Sony DSC W100 camera shows the time in Clock Set screen, but when i'm copying the photos to my windows laptop, it does not show the date of the photos. i'm not sure why

Beacause the time is added to the display of the camera like other texts or symbols - it is not "written" into the picture. You can see it if you show EXIF data of the picture.

How do I get the date to show on the photo? Sony dsc w150

For DSCW150, you can use the supplied Picture Motion Browser Software to insert the Date and Time on the images.
I'll forward a link to a page where you can view the information about inserting the Date on the images.

Sony DSC-W100 PROBLEMS

I found a solution that worked for me further on in this site. The person said to reset the camera. On my Sony DSC-W100, I opened the battery/memory slot door and to the left of the memory slot there's a tiny gray dot that I pressed and the problem has gone away.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W70 Can you print photos with time/date stamp on them?

Yes and no... When printing the photos yourself, you can add the date via software. You can also download software that will allow you to add the date (and save it) before printing your images (http://www.avpsoft.com/products/timetophoto/).
As far as commercial printing kiosks (Walgreens, Walmart ect.) you have already found out that it isn't possible; however, I have found a local Camera Retailer (Mom and Pop shop) with some high end kiosks that read the stored date and ask if you want it included with the picture. The only thing is that it puts the date on the back of the photo, my wife would prefer it on the front.

Sony Cyber-Shot Optical Zoom 3X

Still photos (what you think of as printable photos) and movies (video clips) are completely different beasts, unfortunately. In order to extract or print individual frames within a movie, you will need some sort of movie player/editor software. Standard "photo"-oriented software won't know how to deal with video clips.
