Question about Reddy R155D Utility Heater

Reddy heater r155d look-a-like--uses same motor and pump?

I have a reddy heater looking heater that says "Whayne" on the top cover and "master" seems to be the brand on the data sticker. I got it second hand and found the motor was burnt-up and the fuel pump mounted to the back side of the motor was in 20 broken pieces. What do I look for to buy a replacement part. Note: there is an area on the side that probably had a data plate riveted on it but it's missing I think it probably had the model number and serial number on it so I'm unsure of how to order parts.

155 heaters use one of 2 motors. Either 097308-06 or 102001-30 (now 102001-33), depending on your model. They do not interchange or swap betewwn heaters. Go to www.reddyparts.com . Look up each number. Your motor will have a part number printed on it. Search that model and see if there is a replacement.

Is R155D the same as PRO155 ? If so , fine .... Other than that I`m not sure what else you`d need to know !? It`s real old and needs a set of filters... It fires quickly ... sounds normal ... doesn`t run...

You wrote "Is R155D the same as PRO155 ?" Answer- Yes, The R155D is a pro 155, BUT so are many other 155's and not all use the same technology. The newer ones are computerized, the older ones are not.

Yours, the R155D is computerized and uses HSI (hot surface ignitor) technology.

Filters....part number PP214 (complete filter kit).

If there is no fuel coming out, then you must troubleshoot to find out why. The air pump has a dual purpose. It pumps air to the nozzle for atomization and sucks fuel frpm the tank.

Start by troubleshooting the pump by setting the pump pressure.
