I have the same problem. I'm on my 2nd printer and the problem is the same. Paper won't feed in.

The file is sent to the printer and the transfer button blinks and the printer tries to pick up the paper but does not. I hit the ok/print button and it tries to pick up the paper again but with no success.

Here is how I solved this problem. If you pull out the paper tray, you will notice two small, white, push pins under and to the right of the pinch rollers. Dip a cotton swab in isopropyl alcohol and use the swab to push each pin in and out a few times, thus cleaning the pins and the holes that guide them. Give it all a minute to dry and reinstall the paper tray.

Try putting a taller stack of paper in the printer. As they get older, the wheels lose traction. Clean the wheels you can see with a damp Q-tip.

SOURCE: Printer dock does not pick up paper.

I cleaned the wheel as a previous user had advised - I also pushed up the metal catch that sits under the printer and lifts the paper cartridge and it started to print. My replacement printer however didn't respond to this, however at least I have one that works.

For how long it will continue to do so is another question...!

Regards,

D

Make sure the paper doesn't have a curve in it. Also, fan the pages to make sure they aren't sticking together. Load shiny side up. Try taking about 10 sheets out

Try to clean the rubber rollers with lint free cloth. Make sure you are using Kodak Xtralife paper. At the back of the paper it should say "Xtralife".

The photo paper does not feed into printer. I

Get hold of the photocard and try, with your fingers, to curve the end that goes into the printer first so that it doesnt resist as the machine tries to pick it. Just curve/bend it little upwards, not downwards. Usually this kind of problem is temporal and happens especially when the card is a bit too hard for the machine.

I have an Easy Share printer dock series 3 that has paper loaded

To prevent misfeeds and to make sure your pictures look their best, we recommend that you keep the feed roller clean. IMPORTANT: Unplug the power before cleaning the feed rollers.
  1. Unplug the AC power cord from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the paper tray from the printer, and leave the paper tray door open. IMPORTANT: Do not use cotton or cotton swabs to clean the feed roller.
  3. Lightly moisten a lint-free cloth with water.
  4. Use the moistened cloth to gently wipe clean the surface of the feed roller. Advance the feed roller with your thumb as necessary, and continue cleaning.
  5. Let the feed roller dry fully before plugging the AC power cord back into the power outlet.
  6. Insert the paper tray into the printer, then press the Print button to resume printing.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

After you load paper printer says no paper loaded. It catches paper but does not send it through.

YOU HAVE FAN THE PAPER BOTH ENDS LONG WAYS FAN THE PAPER, WIDE OR SIDE OF THE PAPER NEEDS TO BE FANED,

ASSIST THE PAPER INTO THE FEEDER MAKE SURE THERE IN NO FORIEGN OBJECT IN THE FEEDING AREA MAYBE PENCIL OR PEN FELL DOWN THERE,

STICK YOUR HAND BEHIND THE PAPER AND PUSH THE PAPER FORWARD UNTIL PAPER STARTS TO FEED YOU HAVE TO DO EVERY TIME YOU LOAD NEW PAPER UNLESS YOU PLACE NEW PAPER BEFORE IT RUNS OUT OF PAPER, THIS IS A PICKUP ISSUE FOR THE PRINTER,

Will not pick up paper

Take a wet cloth and clean the front grabbing roller by rotating roller on the wet cloth. You may have to do several times and after printer has not been used for a while.
