Did you check to make sure your vehicle didnt come with a factory amp, if it has one is it turning on? or did you remember to disconnect the negative battery cable while installing your radio, i know thats a dumb question, once i was installing a pioneer a barely crossed a couple wires and fried the radio, the radio itself worked fine and all the features etc, but it never did play sound again. i always disconnect the power now!!

Double check the connections from the battery. There might be some loose wire. Did you change any connections at the back of the Radio?

I Have a 2000 Impala without onstar, i tried to replace the in-dash radio with an aftermarket one, i bought an 80$ wiring harness for my car because of a chime and it came with 4 rca cables along with the...

The four RCAs are for the speaker outputs. They plug into the rear of the Pioneer unit (front and rear outputs). Also, you didn't mention the model number of the wiring harness (necessary to properly diagnose the situation) but, some these units have one or two philips head dials to adjust the volume of the stereo and the volume of the chime. These dials may be on the side of the unit or, oyu may need to open the casing to see them.

I need to know how to set the clock on my pioneer car cd player model DEH-P4000UB.

Try this with your key in the on position and the radio off. Hit the clock button. When the clock appears, hold the clock and audio button at the same time. Thats the way my pioneer does it.

Pioneer dehp3100ub.stock speakers wont work with unit?

If the vehicle has a premium sound package - you need to use the remote wire to turn on the factiry amplifier.
If you want to use the power from the radio for the speakers, you must buy and install a factory amplifier bypass harness.

Installing newer radio in older truck

Hello zachary_reed,

What you need is an aftermarket wiring harness. These are made by Metra, Scosche, and others and are made to plug directly into the OEM radio harness. It appears that the one you want is the Scosche FB02B available from SonicElectronix. You simply connect the wires from your new receiver to the harness wires and then plug it into the factory radio plug. Another online retailer that sells aftermarket harnesses is www.crutchfield.com. Your local car audio shop or perhaps Best Buy may also have the wiring harness.

Be sure to match up the wires from your new radio harness to the aftermarket harness by FUNCTION, not by color. For example, most newer receivers will use Yellow as the 12V constant (hot) wire. The wiring color code for your F150 is shown here. Make sure that the pin on the aftermarket harness is connecting the yellow from your new receiver to the green/yellow of the OEM plug and so on.

Hope this helps.
