Question about Dell Vostro 1400 Intel Core 2 Duo T5270 80GB/1000MB PC Notebook
I have a blue screen appear almost a minute after I start the computer. It says "The system has failed". The keyboard and mouse also are unusable the entire time. Adding insult to injury, the 1 year warranty expired a few days ago so Im not able to just send it in. Im hoping to find a fairly inexpensive solution to this and am wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
OK you can try a couple of things.
1. On booting the Laptop, hold down F8 key, then choose "Last known Good Configuration". Windows may now start correctly.
2. If this doesn't work, do the same, but choose "Boot into Safe Mode"
If neither works you may have to repair Windows...
