Hooking up my dvd player

We just got a dvd player for Chritmas and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to connect it. We have an older Magnavox TV with only a coax cable connection on the back. We subsciube to cable and so also need to connect the cable box. How do I do this?

Try an "RF Modulator". It can take in multiple type signals like your cable and dvd and send it to the TV via the coax. The one I have will take in Coax (cable), RCA (left, right & Video) and S-video.
