POWER SUPPLY & BATTERY PROBLEM If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.
If there is no power light and it can't charge your laptop, it is likely that the charger is dead. You need a new laptop charger. So try a new adapter to confirm the real issue.
There are two kinds of ac adapters for your toshiba l305-s5955
You should choose the right charger depending on your original adapter's specification. If the original one need 90w, you won't buy 75w that will bring damage to your laptop. If it needs 75w you can use 90w too.
Manual Open thecoverunderlaptop, remove theCMOSbatteryabout 7seconds,thenplug it back.Turn onlaptop,BIOSpasswordwill be lost.Performsettingdate, time,etc.
The problem here is the password stops the system from loading. If you locate a Toshiba Service Centre, they can remove it for you electronically. Hope this helps.
Dear
you have to uninstall the sound driver , by going to device manager , and then uninstall the audio and also uninstall realtek or whatever you have software installed , and then try a new download and install it good

Yes, it can be replaced but will most likely cost more than the computer is worth at todays prices. If it where me I would remove the screen and buy an LCD Flat screen and use the computer as a desk top if I really needed to keep it. Or remove the hard drive and put it in a mobile case and use as a back up drive and buy a new laptop.
i can hear the sound from speakers but not from earphones ,,
