My cousins took out the speakers to our computer and hooked it up to a laptop, which hooked up to the TV to watch a movie, and now the speakers aren't working in the original computer. I went into the control panel and under audio output it said there were no audio devices hooked up. So....how do I fix this? Thanks to whoever helps :D

- Thanks for your fast reply!
i already had the green plug in the green hole, but still nothing is working.
speakers won't show up in the device manager, go to the rear of your machine and plug it into the green connector, it should be either lite green or pink, try green first, just keep the volume down till u figure out which on it is

- Restart the machine with the speakers in, did you change any settings when you were fiddling with it?, we can do a restore if you think you may have done something that you perhaps do not remember. If so go to start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore. Go to the closest date to today that you are sure all was well and let it restore, all should be well when done, Peace, Gym

The bass speakers stoped working but the tweeters still work. The bass speakers work sometimes when you move the speaker with the readout and the touchpad on it. I think a wire came loose inside if I can open up the speaker I could fix it they are out of warranty by two months so I have nothing to lose by trying. I am a technician but I do not know how to get inside the speaker case. Can you help me? Please I love my Z 10's and I hate to replace them for such a simple problem.

To make a long story short. My mother and I switched monitors when she bought her new computer. She didn't like that is was really big. (22inch widescreen) so I offered to switch my 17inch standard. I wanted it because I needed a new gaming monitor anyway. Well the sound works for my xbox. But when I connect it to my computer, there is no sound. I've done everything. Even been told that it's my sound card and that I needed to update it. Which I did, restarted my computer, and nothing still. I'm running out of patience here. Can anyone help?
