The 7.5 amp fuse keeps blowing in my 2009 Tiguan, as soon as I plug one in (before starting the car). A few weeks ago, I left the lights on in my car and the battery died. I replaced the battery but then the interior lights don't come on. Checked all the fuses and the 7.5 amp one was the only one that didn't work. Replacing it results in an immediate fuse blown.

In the Fuse Relay Box under the Hood there is a Headlight Relay. Replace this Relay along with a New Fuse and it should work. Let me Know. Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help That I can Get! Thanks!

even if they dont they should clean up there mess i would change dealers they dont seem to care about the small stuff if thats true what do you think there missing else where

Yes I had the same problem. The wires that plug into the sensor at the catatytic converter were rubbing against the drive shaft untill they finally wore through causing the short against drive shaft. repaired wires and it fixed everything

Faulty reciever ,,, Worth checking the plug assy for internal damage . Check that the sat receiver is within the power capabilities of the vehicles acessory plugs < 10amp .
