Vertical rolling

Does you set have PIP (picture in picture)? If it does then the PIP module has a bunch of capacitors that have gone bad (dried out and leaked) causing you to loose vertical sync. Vertical synchronization is what locks your picture keeping it from rolling. Even if you don't have PIP then still you have a vertical sync problem. The set would have to be checked by a tech to find exactly what's happening. Stargazer

Try # 2... Green Fog

The green gun in your picture tube is set a little too high. If you are experienced in removing the back cover of TV's,etc., you may try to find the drive and/or bias controls either on the circuit board that plugs on to the neck of the picture tube or mounted on the main circuit board of your TV. These controls are usually labeled. If you can find them, locate the green bias or drive control and back it down a little while watching the picture through a mirror. A slight adjustment may correct your problem.tJIS IS CALLED GRAY SCALE ADJUSTMENT. BE CAREFUL THERE ARE SOME HIGH VOLTAGE CIRCUITS NEARBY. WORK WITH ONE HAND AND USE AN INSULATED TOOL TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS I hope this may help you.AGAIN BE CAREFUL!! Stargazer

Non-HD picture issues

Sounds like you may have something generating interference, such as a bad cable shield on maybe a ground connection inside your tv. You might try moving the cables while watching the screen and see if the pattern changes. Double pictures on a screen can be caused by "ghosts", which means that you're getting two signals--- one slightly behind the other. Anything oscillating generating a radio frequency may radiate into your circuits causing this strange problem. Stargazer

Horizontal roll on mitusbishi 35" tv

is this a horizontal black line going up or down? if yes, this sympton is caused by a trouble in the integrated circuit or in the vertical oscillator circuit. this symptons has 2 variations. one is the intermittent rolling of the picture. this referred to as the "loose vertical hold" the other variations is the continuous upward or downward rolling of the picture
