Question about KitchenAid KFP750 Food Processor
I was grating soap in my food processor. It stalled , and I cleared it. I went to empty the bowl and have not been able to remove the stem. I am afraid to pull too hard. The food processor still works properly.
because I can not remove the stem I cannot remove the bowl. I have used a fair amount of pressure trying to remove the stem.
My disc stem got stuck. I added boiling water to the bowl and left it a few minutes. After some jiggling of the stem it came off.

There is no mechanism to lock the stem onto the base of the KFP750. It's just held on by gravity, so you're not missing anything simple!
It's possible that the soap dust got in there and glued in on. Take a blow dryer or very hot rag (use tongs!) to the stem to see if you can soften the soap, then pull up the stem.
