Pictures come out blurry if any movement

The most likely culprit is a slow shutter speed. If the subject moves while the picture is being taken, you'll see it blur. If non-moving objects show up sharp while the moving objects are blurred, then this is definitely it.

Another possibility is camera movement. Try putting the camera on a tripod or a table or other steady support, then use the self-timer to take a picture. If everything in the picture is blurry, then this is probably the reason.

The third possibility is that the camera isn't focused on the subject. Try taking a picture of the subject when it isn't moving and see what happens.

Pictures are coming out blurry

On digital cameras it is always best to press the button half way down before taking the picture. This helps the camera focus, thus preventing blurry images. Always, always press the button half way down. Secondly, if you are still getting blurry pictures, there is a possiblity that the sensor in your camera is bad. I don't know how old your camera is or how long you've had it, but you would need to send it for repair, exchange it, or if it's under warranty maybe they'll send you a new one.

My camera takes blurry pictures

I would try placing the camera on the table (very solid surface that doesn't move) then activating the self timer to take a picture. this will make sure you eliminate the chance that it's you and not the camera. if it still comes out blurry and you haven't inadvertantly switched it to manual focus, if the little thing has such a feature, you got a busted camera.

Blurry Image

I had that problem too. So I pushed the MENU button and got to looking to see what all was there. I moved down to where it says SCENE and clicked on it. I moved it down to portrait. On my camera that fixed my problem of no flash and it seemed to take forever to take the picture. You could try that. But I did notice though, that when I turn my camera off and then back on I have to re-do it.
