My xbox 360 wont let me play shaun white snowboarding but it will

Once i put the shaun white snowboarding game in it it will try to read it but will fail and tell me to open the tray. I tried to wipe off scratches but still nothing will happen

- I got it on christmas so i went to try it and it worked then i took it to someones house and it worked there too, but when i came home it didnt work so i dont think it is the scratches cuz it is brand new. Any other suggestions?

if u can play other games, the game is faulty, take it back and they will give u a refund provided u have not caused the scratches purposefuly like dropping it
