Just a shot in the dark here, but check this out to see if we may fix it:

Make sure your images are
1. .jpg, not .jpeg, .tif or any other extension.
2. Not too large, maybe around 5x7 72dpi
3. images are not corrupt. Try to open it on your computer
4. Copy the images to your desktop, reformat your card either with your computer or camera, then load them back on the card and try again.

Maybe one of these will work.
You may have to return because it's defective.

Pictures show up on memory card in camera, but computer won't recognize the card - either inserted directly or by USB

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

My nokia c7 keeps freezing then switches itself off

Remove the unwanted messages, pictures. Transfer photos from the phone to its memory card. Check the phone functioning without memory card. Check for the virus. Does it freeze while playing MP3s ? Use playlist instead of playing individual song or album. Check the battery voltage, which should be more than its rated voltage when fully charged. Update the phone from the nokia website by using PC suite. If all this does not help then you need to take it to nokia service centre.

How do i send pictures from my phone to my facebook account

Hi ellen70,

If you have a USB cable you can connect it to your Desktop or Laptop first, or if you have Card reader, you can also insert the Memory card.

Then follow this step how to upload photos or pictures, create album in your Facebook account:

1. Go to your profile and click Photos under your profile picture.
2. In the top right corner of the screen, click the + Upload Photos button.
3. Click Select Photos then choose the photo files you want to upload. To upload multiple photos at once, hold down the Control button on your PC, or the Command button on your Mac, while clicking the image files.4. Click Open once you've selected your photos.
5. After you select photos to upload, you'll see a prompt to choose an album title, privacy setting for the album and photo quality.
6. A progress bar will show you the status of your upload. Once it's complete, click the blue Create an Album button and you'll be directed to the new album.

Hope it helps.

Thank You for using Fixya.

I bought a new battery for my canon ixus 50 but it is still showing low battery. Also, i cannot transfer photos to my pc. How do I solve these issues?

For the photo transfer, remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into a memory card reader. Some PCs have these build in. If not, you can get one from any electronics store. The card readers plug into your PC's USB slot and the card shows up as a drive on the PC. You can copy & paste (or drag & drop - your preference) to move the pictures from the memory card to your PC.

For the battery - did you charge it before use? Most batteries ship at about 30 to 50% capacity.

When i take pictures the screen freezes, and can't rurn off

Sounds as if it's having trouble writing/saving to the memory.
Ensure it's got enough memory available.
Ensure the battery is fully charged.
Try it on the camera's integrated memory.
Try formatting the memory card. (Transfer your photos first)
Try another memory card.
Try another battery.
If none of these work; it may be an internal software issue, which would likely require a technician - Assuming it's even possible to reprogram.

Good luck!
