Question about Olympus Camedia C-50 Zoom Digital Camera

Changing the DPI on my digital camera

I am a real estate appraiser and have been told that my emailed appraisals have too many megabytes due to wrong setting on my camera dpi. Can you please give me a quick way that I can change the dpi setting to the lowest possible one?? Thank you.

Thank you, zeusfaber; however, I guess my camera C-50 Zoom is a little different. Appreciate the try though.

Dpi = quality. On my C-310, the quality settings are accessible by pressing the Menu/OK button, then scrolling left to an icon which can only be described as a fallen over christmas tree (other interpretations welcomed). Once there, select a lower quality and press OK. You'll probably see each quality level described both in terms of initials (SHQ presumably meaning "Super High Quality" and a resolution like "2048x1536". The lower the numbers you select, the fewer dpi and megabytes you will generate. A.

A quick skim of your instruction manual suggests they shouldn't be too different.

Look at page 16 of the C-50 Zoom manual available here:
    http://resources.olympus-europa.com//con...

When you get to step 3, press "Left" instead of "Down" (this is my fallen over christmas tree)

Then proceed as outlined in the last paragraph of my post above.

Believe that should sort you out.

    A.

How do Property Valuations work?

Whenever you venture into buying property, a rate is quoted to you. How exactly is this rate decided? Property valuation helps to derive these rates that are cited to you. But how do property valuations work? We'll take a sneak peek into it:

Some professionals calculate the Real estate Appraisal or what we also call property valuation. An important aspect to be kept in mind is the fact that properties are fixed assets. They cannot be moved and will be there in the same place till the end of time. But this does not mean that its value remains stagnated. There are constant improvements and upgradation in properties with every passing year, which is why they need to be assessed by real estate valuers. These valuers evaluate the property on the basis of a host of factors and then conclude. Both tangible and intangible factors are included for computation. Few of these factors are:

  1. Location
  2. Facilities
  3. Size of the land
  4. Size of the residential area
  5. The condition of the property

Tip

MISSING OUT ON pROPERTY DOCUMENTS

Mainly, an appraiser is paid a level cost for an evaluation record. An appraiser should service several tasks because he or she could not depend upon one task just. It is additionally feasible that there is a clash of consultation days which could contribute to the hold-ups in a record. There are no backup charges that are paid because of hold-ups due to various other individuals. For this reason, hold-ups could constantly develop a vicious circle of even more hold-ups.

I am trying to find out year of manf. and value of my savage mod. 29a 22 pump serial num 52*** any ideas

Hello, Dennis -

Some firearm manufacturers have information available on their websites so that firearms owners can determine the age of their gun. Winchester is one such manufacturer.

I do not find that information on the website for Savage. This is the link to the home page:
http://www.savagearms.com/

However, Savage Arms company does have a web page where one can fill out a form to send a request for information via email:
https://savagearms.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

On that form, I suggest you choose the Support Category of "Historical Request."

As for a valuation of your firearm, I do not know if you reside in the USA, where I am most familiar with reputable appraisal sources. If you do not reside in the USA, then, I suggest you visit your local public library and ask a reference / information librarian to help you find a list of reputable firearms appraisers. I am a librarian by profession.

To find a firearms appraiser, I suggest you use your favorite search engine (I use Google) and enter the following search phrase:
firearms appraiser

Plus, use the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) web site to find a member who appraises firearms:
http://www.isa-appraisers.org/
Choose the Find An ISA Member link near the top of the page. Then, on the Find An ISA Member page, enter the word firearms in the Find box. Leave the location box blank for the widest possible search.

Compare the lists of firearms appraisers - the list you compiled with your search engine search and the results of the ISA search.

In the USA, several things to consider about a firearms appraiser:
* Is the person accredited by either the American Society of Appraisers, the Appraisers Association of America, the International Society of Appraisers, or the American Gunsmithing Institute?
* Is the appraisal business a member of the Better Business Bureau?

I am the daughter of an NRA approved marksmanship coach who also was licensed to sell firearms.

Best wishes.
