Mama, cleaning the filter on this is pretty easy. If you look at the lower spray arm, I believe that it just snaps on. Should be some clips on the lower part holding it on. Remove the spray arm and grab the filter trap handle. Turn it to the right or left 45 degrees and it will lift out. It's keyed to lock on and off. Now you can remove the filter and look right down into the sump. Just take your time and remember the position order so you can reverse it when putting it back together..This is for the model posted...Catriver..post back.

Hello, LG LD 14AT1 dishwasher, starts cycle runs 3 minutes, starts stops on off no water in bottom. Then displays OE chimes! Checked tap under sink water there, checked filter inside bottom, turned off for...

Hi

OE in your dishwasher is a drain error and dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller & clean the chopper assembly. If the issue returns after cleaning then the drain pump assembly should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

The washer will not drain I cleaned the bottom drain out and it was full of something that felt like kitty litter (it was not kitty litter) something fell apart when I was washing. I attempted to run a...

Your drain system is clogged with debris. Remove the filter from the bottom left door and look straight back inside the drain system, you will see more debris inside. Do not use a sharp object to remove the debris or you will puncture the rubber bellows. From the back of the machine, remove the back cover. At the bottom of the tub you will find a rubber drain hose that leads from the bottom the tank to the drain filter. Using your hand, gently squeeze the rubber drain hose to "massage" the leftover debris inside. This should help clean out the debris. WARNING: This will cause a major rush of water to come out so be prepared. Good luck

This is a slow drain problem; remove the lower front panel, remove the pump and clean out the pump and the coin catcher and it will be fine. To access, remove the two screws at the very bottom of the bottom panel and push down and remove , the pump sets just inside.

I would remove the bottom panel of the dishwasher and remove the drain hose from the pump. On some of the Kenmore Dishwashers you can remove the drain spout where the drain hose attaches to and clean. Sometimes something will catch inside the drain spout.
I hope this helps.

There is water in the inside reservoir of the dishwasher!!!

The filter should be located at the bottom right front of washer, possibly behind a removeable plastic cover at bottom.
Unscrew anti- clockwise to remove and clean.

Leaking in the bottom of the freezer side

Plugged up drain. Unplug refrigerator. Remove basket at bottom of inside freezer ( it may be frozen in ice) . Get your hair dryer and thaw and remove all ice, At the very back bottom of inside freezer is the drain that is plugged up. You will see a hole, pour hot water into it. You may need to snake a flexible piece of wire through the hole. Once water goes down its open. Worst case you may have to remove drain tube in back bottom and clean out. Hope this helps
