Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone

IPhone won't connect to AT&T WiFi at Starbucks

Starbucks and AT&T have a deal whereby iPhone customers get free WiFi service in Starbucks locations. The net is supposed to automatically recognize the iPhone. Instead, I get a log in screen that asks for my phone number. I enter it, and the next screen says it doesn't recognize my phone number.
AT&T says if you can get a 3G connection it is out of their hands. They initially blamed Apple. Then they blamed Starbucks. I can't help but think it is an AT&T issue.

I keep loosing data connection - please give me easy to follow instructions

If it is data over wifi you need to stay within the wifi zone. This will be closest to the transmitter router. For instance, if you are at MacDonalds using their wifi and then you are walking to Starbucks, you are going to lose the wifi signal between them until you get to Starbucks.

If it is on LTE or 3G, not in a wifi area, you need to complain to your cellphone carrier who provide your service.

Apple mc922ll/a will not connect to wifi

Is it using wireless security on the Access point/router? If so, ensure you're using AES and not TKIP encryption, I've seen issues with this in the past. Otherwise, try other devices on the wireless, if they have problems there may be a hardware problem with the router. Does the phone work with a friends wifi? Or maybe try at a Starbucks? There could be an issue with the phone.

I have brought a google nexus tablet. how do i connect to the internet. i do not have a a modem at home

You can connect to a free WiFi site at such places as Starbucks, MacDonalds, at some shopping centers and at the airport terminals.
Have the tablet's WiFi turned on and it will automatically detect any wireless WiFi site within range of your tablet. Some site have encryption enabled and you won't be able to connect to these wireless sites.

I lost my phone and a friend had a galaxy from samsung, I activated my new sim&its been hours and my phone says im mot connected to a wi.fi network. How do I fix it and get my phone to work?

Go to a StarBucks or McDonalds. They have free Wi-Fi.
You can connect to the WiFi and then your phone will work.

Some phones need WiFi to work. If you have internet at home, just get a ROUTER with WiFi and you will be able to connect. Router are real cheap these days, some about $10-$15
and you can also find them on craigslist too

Good Luck & Happy Free WiFi calling!

Thanks :-)

How to connect to internet

If you go to your home screen and tap the menu button you will get a small menu. Here select settings. Look for wireless and networks and make sure the check next to wifi is on. Then select wifi settings this will give you a list of wifi signals available in your area. Select one without the padlock to connect and get internet. If non are avaiable you can go to a starbucks, library or any place that offers free wifi.

Go into the settings program (the icon with the gears). The second menu option should be WiFi. Tap it and turn on the WiFi by tapping the rectangular button on the top right. Your network should show up in the list, just tap to join.

If your talking about wifi connections. Does your home have a wifi router? If not then you won't connect. Many places have free wifi that you can freely connect too.

GPS not working

Try this -

1) Settings > Enable 3G Change to Off.

2) Use the iPhone GPS receiver to locate your position

3) Settings > Enable 3G change to On.

There are two positioning systems in the iPhone 3G, one is the 3G network, and the second is the GPS receiver. The problem occurs when the data from the two systems doesn't match.
