I think you bought the system with windows. As you buy this in germany, the windows is loaded in german language. so it may not be changed from german to English. For this the must easy method is to format your PC and a load a new operating system. in time of loading choose the English and in future you would not face any problem on language as English will become the default language for your system.
Hi! Please try doing the steps below: 1.Open Control Panel and double click on the Regional and Language Options icon. 2.In the first tab, Regional Options,
select English (US), English (UK), or any other English (there are many
versions of English pre-loaded) as per your wish. The option is
available in the first drop down list under Standards and Formats. You may also click the Customize button next to the drop down to customize the format of date, time, currency etc. 3.Click on the next tab, Languages and then click the button labeled Details. In the Text Services and Input Languages dialog box, you can see all the installed languages. Select English in the list of available languages under Default Language Settings. 4.To create a keyboard shortcut for switching among installed languages, use the Key Settings under Preferences. Please note that you can also use the Language bar to switch among languages. Click OKto close the dialog box. 5.To set English as the default language for the particular user account, click on the Advanced tab of Regional and Language Options dialog box. Make sure English is being displayed in the drop down box and check the last option in the dialog box. 6.Click OK to close the dialog box and log off for the settings to take effect.
Hope this helps. Thanks for reading my suggestion.
if you are talking about the language on your computer click start control panel, regional and language options select regional language options from the drop down list select the language you want also from the bottom drop up list you can select your present location location or another language hope this helpsdon
On the page that shows WHERE TO and VIEW MAP press TOOLS (the spanner symbol at the bottom right corner)
Press SETTINGS (The spanner symbol) or LOCALE (The blue symbol) on models that don't have a settings icon
Press LANGUAGE (the lips symbol)
There are 3 items on this screen; VOICE, TEXT LANGUAGE and KEYBOARD
To change the voice language to English press VOICE and select an English speaking voice
To change the text language press TEXT LANGUAGE and select English, or American English if you're in the USA
If the text language is already in German you probably won't know which is voice, text and keyboard. The German word for German is Deutch so when you see this beside one of the items you'll know this is the one to change the text language. This should solve your problem.
click start control panel, regional and language options select regional language options from the drop down list select the language you want also from the bottom drop up list you can select your present location location or another language hope this helps
First of all Click on start Go to control panel Then click on Regional and language setting Click on regional options Select english from the drop down menu Then click on advanced and select english again from the drop down menu Click on apply and then OK Hope this fixes your problem
If this doesn't fixes your problem than the base version of windows is german,So in order to change that unfortunately you would have to reinstall windows again with a fresh english version copy
How to change OS language from Dutch to English? The regional settings change only the keyboard, the multilanguage option is not available on ASUS Eee PC's XP Home!!! It is just a localized version: it saya everything in Dutch. Reinstalling in English, I can not use my clean serial, it does not accept it and also I lose all the drivers... So how could we REALLY do it?
