Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone
My iPhone 3G v.2.2 is unable to connect to certain WiFi networks even though it sees the net and I enter valid PW. My co-worker is able to connect with same hardware/software. I notice that his phone sees the DNS and router numbers and mine doesn't. Presume this is the problem.
Fix =restore ispw 3G firmware that is earlier your present one, from someone like iclarified. try a few untill the wifi connects online.
you can search net to see how to restore to earlier firmware using itunes.
when wifi, hopefully works, update to latest firmware .
I assume your phone is a import, australia, hong kong? not from your current country.
even if it does nt work no harm should be done.
