Question about Computers & Internet
The built in card readers have stopped working. The drives do not show up on windows explorer or control panel. The device manager under disk drives shows operating correctly. Under storage it shows them with a code 10. Tried finding new drivers. No joy. Tried uninstalling and rebooting. No joy. I've now disabled them as they are of no use. If I need to transfer photos, I now use USB ports.
There are 3 possible problems from my point of view.
1) The cardreader is not working so you need to change it.
2) The inside connections are not working proprietly or unplugged.
3) The operatin sistem has problems with this cardreader
