    i have the same problem.

Zboard have shutdown, none of their sites or logins work. We need to find a secondary site where the 64bit drivers are uploaded, or find someone who has the download !!

  • Leibado Jan 21, 2009

I also have the same issue with the Z Engine not booting up. I have tried reinstalling the software and the new 64-bit drivers. It still isn't working. I keep getting the error message ( Error DBDE01. A Data
Engine error has occurred. Please try rebooting your system to resolve
the problem. If this problem persists, please view our online FAQ. ) Rebooting does not help, the FAQ doesn't have anything like this posted. Anyone have any ideas?

I installed the program and it worked perfectly since last April of 2008, then it suddenly gave a notice that "Ideazon Z Engine has stopped working" for my 64 bit Vista. I tried looking for the site, but Ideazon, Zboard and any associated sites don't work. Any ideas to get it working again?

Go to this site and download the driver for your keyboard or mouse or whatever you have and it should work. i was having the same problems and now i'm 100% and couldn't be happier. i was hoping it would work because i had already bought several of the special keyset's for it for certain games.

After upgrading to Vista 64bit I pulled my hair out for hours over this issue. The keyboard would work fine with no drivers installed. After installing Z-engine the keyboard would completely stop working. I did everything ... downloaded drivers from other countries ... uninstalling/reinstalling ... trying the keyboard on another PC ... Updated all MS updates ... searching the net for solutions but to no avail. The problem I found was not with the keyboard but with the Logitech SetPoint software. Seems the software was conflicting with the keyboard. I uninstalled SetPoint and totally Unisntalled/Deleted Z-engine from the PC ... uninstalled the keyboard in device manager including checking the remove drivers box. I then reinstalled the 64 version of Z-engine and poof ... it worked. I then reinstalled SetPoint and both started getting along.

You need the 64 bit driver. Check the support section of the manufacturers website. They should have the drivers you need available for download there. Hope this helps.

This is also an issue with the 32-bit WinXP, the problems stem from a recent Windows update.  Downloading the most up to date Ideazon drivers solved the problem (link at the top of the comments).

I have 2 systems. One running Vista, the other vista 64.
The vista 64 system did a windows update to install "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1" and after restarting the following error came up: "Ideazon Z Engine has stopped working". Uninstalling the MS update made no difference. I Used System Restore to reload the system back to a point immediately before the update and all works fine again.

The vista system has the same error but unfortunately System Restore was never turned on for this PC so I am unable to roll back. I uninstalled the update, uninstalled the ZEngine software, restarted and then reinstalled the ZEngine software but I still get the error: "Ideazon Z Engine has stopped working".........HELP

I just got the same Problem, just buyed today, first Install, WIndows 7 64Bit...

My Solution was a bit barbaric, because i got very angry, but it worked!

I started Zengine.exe about 500 Times in Total Commander running in Adminmode, the Machine then allmost freezed, then crashed (pulled the Powercord) after that Windows 7 came up and also ZEngine working fine now...

Also i first really trid everything else before, even running it under Adminrights and in all Compatiblitymodes, none helped, so i said to myself i will learn Windows that i don't accept such silly Messages and also i'm the God on my System not Windows...

Also after the Freeze Windows of course scanned the HDD on Start and found some Problems, logicaly if pull the Cord, so don't try this Solution if you fear loosing something, you never know...

But it worked flawlessly for me, i now suppose that perhaps the Crash with additionaly Autoscanfix on HDD has fixed it, but i'm not sure, but i don't care, it works now thats the only important thing.

If this also nwould not have worked, i probably retured the Product instantly next day, because i really hate such Things if i buy a new product and install the Software on a clean and fresh System...

Can't install CD for wireless keyboard. Need

Hello!

Usually when I install drivers for hardware I never use the CD that ships with the product. By the time the product has shipped, CD's that contain software for the product are usually outdated since hardware manufacturers are constantly updating software around the time of release and for awhile afterwords. Because of this, I like to go straight to the manufacturer website and download the absolute latest software/drivers for the hardware in question.

Here's a link below to both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the Windows Vista software for SetPoint. Depending on what version of Windows Vista you're running [32 or 64], choose the appropriate one and try installing that. If that doesn't work, visit Logitech's Support Website, choose your product, and download the appropriate drivers.

I NEED TO CHANGE FROM 64 BIT VISTA OS TO 32 BIT " XP OR VISTA OS

Ummmm. Its quite expensive to do that but i suppose if you need to ten its a viable option. You could buy a cheap 32 bit machine instead or try downgrading vista.http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/1033/ordermedia/default.mspx This may help you if you retail bought the machine.

Hello my friend regarding on your problem, not all hardware device supports VISTA cause as we know VISTA OS is not as XP's hardware supported. I mean their are some hardware device that VISTA could not support especially if that hardware is not latest. Try to used another newer hardware that is supported by VISTA. The reason why your keyboard doesn't work cause maybe their something to do with your device driver particularly if you installed it in VISTA or any other OS.

Keyboard Blinks off and on

Can you please check the following: 1. Connect the Merc Stealth directly to the USB ports on the computer (do not use any intermediary devices such as USB router, KVM switch, etc..) 2. Unplug the devices connected to the USB ports on the back of the Stealth (if any) and connect to them to the PC instead. 3. Make sure USB and USB Legacy support is set to ON/Enabled in the system BIOS 4. Try to determine if there is any hardware or software conflicting with the Merc Stealth - what other irregular hardware or software do you use? 5. Check your RAM. I tried number 3 and solved it.

Cannot installed nvidia software.

You can only install the x64 version of Vista if you have a 64-bit processor. Most hardware does not currently have 64-bit drivers. Vista x64 does not support 16-bit software. Very little x64 software currently exists.
