The manual says that it is a burner thermistor failure? the solution it says is to consult your dealer. Mine just did this today? let me know if you figure it out please.

The technical data I have on the Monitor 2200 lists the following for an error code 13:

Failure of ignitor, solenoid pump or circuit board.
Incorrect wiring or flame rod touches to burner parts.
Air pressure switch or overheat open.

I would test the ignitor first, as that's likely the easiest, cheapest thing.

Then work to the pump, flame rod etc.

If you're not familar with the insides of one of these units, i'd recomend having the unit serviced by a qualified technician.

EE13 on a Monitor is one thing. The same code on a Toyostove is completely different. A Monitor EE13 means there was no flame at ignition. On a toyostove EE13 is the burner thermistor.

On the Monitor I would check my fuel tank. On the Toyo you may have to have the dealer help you, as it could be something easy like a very cold day or more complicated as a main circuit board.

EE13 on a monitor heater means the flame rod couldn't detect fire during it's 300 second cycle. I'd start by cleaning the flame rod and making sure there are no obstructions in the exhaust flue. Also, the 2200 is known for clogging the 1/2 mm oil line that runs between the oil pump and the burner pot.

Call manufacturer or Installer - Direct Vent Furnaces are not a DIY service. Carbon Monoxide is deadly and can easily be emitted if there is something wrong with the heater. Get professional help before anything further is done, as it needs a full inspection for your safety.

EE13 is for the burner thermister, not the thermostat. It prevents the burner from overheating. It does not reset after it has opened an will need to be replaced. Perform a resistance check on the thermistor. It should be less than 200k ohms after preheating. If it isn't, replace the thermistor. If it is the problem could be the circuit board. Hope this helps. Reading says EE 2 what does this mean

Hi Sandra, EE 2 means that the heater did not ignite. There could be several causes. First let me ask, did the heater make a ticking or thumping sound before you got the EE 2? If so that means the fuel isn't getting to the fuel sump. It could be caused by an air bubble in the fuel line, a clogged filter at the tank (if you use an outside tank), or a clogged fuel strainer in the fuel sump. EE 2 could also be caused by a bad igniter. Did the heater light at all? If it did then the igniter is good. If it didn't the easiest way I have found to check the igniter is to use a clamp on ammeter or use a multimeter to check the resistance of the igniter. Another cause is a dirty flame rod. If the heater lit then went out I would suspect this. It can be cleaned with some steelwool or fine sandpaper. Let me know what you find or if you need more info.

Toyo Stove Laser 30 will not work

The EE-8 indication means there is insufficient air flow to the combustion pot to atomize and ignite the fuel. Check your air switch for a closed condition when the blower is operating.

Toyostove Laser 30 has error code EE 22

EE-22 means that the unit has tried three times to ignite. after this it goes into a "lockout" condition. remove the power and the computer will reset itself. it will then try to re-ignite. check for a fuel blockage, dirty filter etc. if there's water in your kerosene it will not fire! kerosene floats on top of water. bleed your system until you get kero and no water. use a gas additive to remove water. dry-gas will work. just empty the bottle's contents into your tank. on your computer type in toyostove error codes. this will take you to toyo's site and explains the error codes.
