Question about Zenith Z50PX2D 50 in. Plasma HDTV
My 4 year old Zenith Plasma has diagonal stripes until it warms up and now it also has the same stripes when we try to watch DVD's. We changed the S video cable and used a DVD player so we ruled that out. I had the screen replaced a year and a half ago with our best buy warranty but we have no warranty left now. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Turn off the TV then unplug it. Disconnect the cable connection and clean the terminals. If the stripes still exist, you have a bad TCP (tape carrier package). It is responsible in transmitting color information to the display panel from the X-Drive (A-Bus) Board. This is not an easy repair. Service of an experienced or a qualified technician is recommended.
