Cannot get it to record (by 2 users)

A friend gave me this VCR after my old one stopped working. Now we cannot seem to get it programed correctly to record. He no longer has the papers for it. I am trying to record chanel 7 Mon-Fri from 2:00-3:00. Please if someone could tell me all the correct things that I need to do. Thank you.
