Usb problem When I plug my new elio photo duke box into the usb port of my Dell computer it comes up with unrecognised device. The same thing happens when I plug it into all the other usb ports. I have followed the troubleshooting guide and gone into device manager to update drivers It then says I have the most recent version. The software on the disc was sucessfully installed and my Dell computer is only 3 years old with Windows XP as the operating system. What could be the problem

Re: usb problem

Just thanks to the person who replied. I still cant use the Elio on my Dell computer 'says USB Device not recognised,' but it works on my boyfriends new Dell computer and on the computer at work. I contacted Dell support and they emailed me with a web address to download some drivers which I did. It actually recognised the device for about 2 mins but them the same thing happened again keep pluging it in hopeing it will connect again but it doesnt also the battery shows low after very little use. Wonder if I can return the elio it is still under guarantee. Kasy

Unrecognized mp3 player

Your MP3 player is unrecognised when you plug it into the computer? It may be an older version that is incompatible with the USB 3.0 port you plugged it in. Try to plug it into other ports and see.

Unable to find the software

Hi, I had the same problem with my Elio Photo Jukebox 810. I ask a friend - he has the same model. I copied all the files from his to mine and the system was restored. Maybe somebody can send the files to you and I hope it works as good as it works on mine.
