Question about Dell W4201C 42 in. Plasma HDTV
I had the same problem and I found a shorted 100uF 100V electrolytic capacitor on the lower logic level scan board. This board was located underneath the I/O tuner section on the tv. This shorted capacitor was keeping the 70V "VA" power supply output from starting. There are 8 caps total on the 4 logic level scan boards in the tv so you should replace them all.

Hello. It looks like I have the same problem that you had with your Dell W4200HD.
Where did you find the new power supply for yours?
Also, did you determine that you didn't really need a new power supply and that it was just a connection problem? If yes, could you please give me some help with what you did to get yours working.
Also, do you still have the power supply you took out of your TV? If yes, would you be willing to sell it to me?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
