Question about Lands Phones
My LG KP 500 suddenly asked my PUK code and PIN number but i guessed random numbers and i had no idea what to do. do i need to buy a new PAYG card or canget a free sulotion so i can get back into my phone?
thank you if you can help me out...
, i done the same thing and i didn't quite know what a puk code was so i went on the internet and search tesco mobile puk code . it then asked me to put in my model and number and then instantly displayed me with a puk code! i was amazed! if you do the same with your network hopefully you should gain a clue or some help!:)

Phone up your network provider eg; AT&T, Orange, T-Mobile etc; and tell them the problem you have. They can unlock your phone from the server and a message will be sent to you via sms telling you your new PIN no.
Hope that is of any help!
Still got a problem? Email me @ Barry_Will@hotmail.co.uk and I promise I will find a solution!

I had the same promble to my LG cookie phone and i went to the carphone warehouse and they said ring your network.but you have to get your mum or dad to do it.then they tell you the puk code or number and you can change the 4 digit number if you want to .then you put the number in what they have told you.

I did this by accident too.
I, however, have the LG KP501. Same phone, just slightly different buttons on the front and it's on the Orange network.
I simply went onto the Orange website and asked them for my PUK code after giving them my security code I had when I registered my sim.

Allright!!!!!!! THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT!!!, IF U HAVE CARD OR FORGOT THE CODE OR ANYTHING AND THE PHONE IS IN SECURITY CODE MENUE, THEN DO THIS INSURT THE SIM CARD THEN SCREW UP THE CODE, THEN THE PUK CODE OPENS UP THEN SIMPLY EXPIRE THE 10 CODES AND THEN WHEN U GET TO -1 TAKE THE SIM CARD OUT WITHOUT TURNING OFF THE PHONE!!!! then the phone will get confused lol and open up sept the sim cards wont work and it wont recognise them. simply take out all your precious data and numbers and put this code into the call manu ( 3845#*500# ) and a sicret menue will pop up then do factory reset then the phone will be like new no settings... all data lost thats why back it up!!!

I have the same problem
If you have some tries left dont waste them
you need to phone the company
To unblock your phone, key the 8 digit code into your handset and press OK.
Remember, if you enter your PUK code 10 times incorrectly it will permanently block your SIM
You will be asked to set and verify a PIN code of your choice (it can be any PIN, even the old one if you now remember it!)
Your phone should now be unblocked.

Ye the lg cookie came up with that for me aswell, so took it in and the lady said that she had to do a sim swap, so they just send all your data from your sim to another sim card and you still have your own number. its *** though coz you cant get out of it :(

I have just got an LG Cookie, I am at High School and there you really can't trust anyone, so I wanted to put a pin code on. I tried that but It did all sorts of things, What is a 'PUK' Code anyway. It is really frustraiting! x

This happened to me and i still havent solved it but ive still got something for you to try out, take your battery and your sim out then while your phone is off slide your sim back in then turn your phone back on, so your phone will be on and sorted but it will say ''no sim card inserted'' but you can still check your messages and photos and so on:D, but i really need to know how to do it propally if i find out ill tell you:)
