The very first thing what u can do is that try in the safe mode and if work in safe mode then do the system restore to an earlier time when mouse was working fine and still if it doesnt work in the safe mode also then uninstall and reinstall the synaptic driver and restart ur computer it should work or what u can try is that try it with the other mouse and if the other mouse work on the computer then replace ur present mouse and if that doesnt work then reinstall the operating system and try and still if it doesnt work then replace the motherboard...that is the last solution for ur issue pls provide the feed back

I have a wireless logitech mouse M/N RBS111. DOES IT WORK WITH RECEIVER NC-U0010?

well first is the battery
wireless needs a battery on the MOUSE end.
and the 2 parts, mouse and the (usb receiver, must match)
usb
C-BS35 did you read the Logitech web site, first, to see if this old mouse is 10 supported?'
I looked for you and they have no legacy mouse suport there.
this mouse is OLD real old why use OLD relic mouse.?
HOPE?
ok , turn on your unstated PC
run w10 connected to the INTERNET (if not its hopeless)
with fresh batteries, plug in the mouse and USB device
windows (PnP) pops the screen or shows the USB ICON busy
this is the PnP engine looking for a driver for you new mouse
plug and play.

did you ask MS for support on this mouse on their forum?
many devices are NOT supported in W10 , vast devices.
old stuff that the maker no longer supports..

You meant the built in mouse pad fails.

why not use wired USB mouse, now, and end the pain ,
then with a working mouse , get the HP driver from HP
and install it from HP. for W7. (luck)
at HP, fixyah is not HP, not at all..
that will work, if not driver issue, then buy a new pad. oops none are sold new.
after 10 years. so that leaves what, used pads sold on ebay..'
..
HP dot com. your support page. (seems to be collapsing from age)10years old it does. by hp rules.
even the tx2500 series is 10 years old now.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Pavilion-tx2000-Entertainment-Notebook-PC-series/3650975

does your service tag show tx2000 , that is series
not telling the service tag number gets you wrong facts.
wrong drivers, so next time show the full model

try the support assistant there.?

here are the full list of tx2000 series PC
see ,its not just one PC, we need the full model p/n to answer
with any accuracy at all.

http://partsurfer.hp.com/WSearch.aspx?Wchar=Y&searchText=tx2000#

there is no guarantee at all any w7 driver exist. for your mouse pad but many times the Vista version will work
you lost that now, i you dont have the install disks from HP.
or the pad is simply bad.

we have tools here to scan your pad chips to see the makers
name and then get driver from them direct. after HP drops support.

NO PC stated (wow1)
NO OS stated, XP, vista,w6/8/10? wow 2.
that is a relic PS2, mouse, nobody use those now, and PS2 parts are unique to the makers, eg: HP mouse fits only HP PC.
so.... how can I answer lacking all facts above missing.
why not buy a USB mouse and end the PS2 ERA.
end it. go to goodwill store, buy used mouse USB for $1?

next time tell what PC is there, it has name and model.
then buy real mouse. USB, not PS2.
my 2nd guess
is you do not own any such mouse,
in fact the numbers 143315-B21 , are not on the bottom of your mouse at all and posted to the wrong form.
best is to post at HP, or at least post to your PCs name and model form
mice come in many formos
  1. 9pin serial (super relics) D-shell shape conn.
  2. PS2 HP , or Compaq) green plug, year 2000 junk.
  3. USB (sold in all stores, even walfart has em)
  4. USB + wifi , wireless mice. (dead batteries?)

in each case the PC has model and so does the mouse.
only that matters first, then why it fails 2nd.

143315-B21 (this mouse is 18 years old now)
used back in the days of Compaq EN series Deskpro's 2000 year.
Pentium III era.
if that is your PC and is internet connected? are you?
that old PC has 2 USB ports, and any USB mouse works there.
and upgrade from nasty old PS2, green end plug mice.

next time post to your PCs, name (HP) and model.
like this,
here is one example of posting the EN series PC

Does each mouse have a connector to pc? I have an HP @MG-0637T that was given to me without any connection (usb port). Does it require one?

Yes of course it has connector. There are two types of connection, wired and wireless connection. Since your mouse is wireless, it needs a bluetooth connection between your computer. Make sure that the computer you will be using has a bluetooth capable function.

HP pavilion will not shut down

pull the power cord out and the battery (or just let it run out). Then, try turning it back on again. If it does the same thing again then yes it may be old blue death and your harddrive may be worse than dead. I don't believe that the power button doesn't work. Hold it in for 10-15 seconds or so, any computer is DOS programmed to respond to the power commands above all, even above the dreaded blue screens. Let me know if I'm an ******* and I don't know what I'm talking about or if you need more help.
