Question about Samsung HLP4663W 46" Rear Projection HDTV
The TV works just fine, things turn on, and run just as if it were brand new. Now when you turn the TV off it sounds like something is rubbing up against a fan (which i have no clue). Is this the fan or color wheel? I have read other posts where people describe the wheel failing as a "squeel". This is more of a grind. Thoughts? How many fans does the TV have? I have seen 2 back by the lamp but I don't think it is either of those.
Thanks in advance.
Had the same thing . . . had to have the lamp and fan replaced . . . all one unit. Tech person changed both units.
