Re: stops few mins into cycle
I assume you have checked the obvious and replaced the fuse in the plug, if fuse o/k, try plug in another socket.
If still no joy, make sure you have the door lat
ched in properly, as sometimes the spring in the door handle can become weak or break, and this prevents the door from locking properly.
If still no lights showing, then I would possibly suspect faulty door lock

I have the same problem with my machine. Whatever program I select, the machine runs fine until it reaches 54 mins of the cycle remaining. To overcome the problem just to select a cycle that will not stop mid cycle, select a program which is less than 54 mins. I think the 40 degrees and quick wash select is the one to run with. The cycle is 45 mins, obviously less that 54 mins. The LED timer will display the cycle time. No problems with this cycle whatsoever. Not the total solution, but at least you're able to complete a cycle. After it's completed, I also run the spin program at 1200rpm. I hope this helps.
I'm and owner and will try to help. Are you handy and do you want to try a DIY fix? From the wash times is sounds like the washer is agitating the wash load (tumblers are rotating the wash basket load) is that correct? If so see if the machine will complete a Spin Only cycle with no clothes in the wash basket. Set the Spinsetting to Spin/Hang dry seting and start the cycle. It should take about 10 min complete.Does the Spin Only cycle complete with no clothes in the wash basket? Some handy links if you are going to DIY.........Service Manual for reference.
It sounds more like the timer motor is stopping. There mght be something binding or a dead spot on the motor. The next time it does that, advance the timer slightly a few times and see if it then advances on it's own Check all the wires, too. Take the timer assembly out and flush it several times with alcohol or plastic safe electronics cleaner while operating the timer (engaged) several times.
