Question about Bosch Axxis WTL 5410 Electric Dryer
Have had this Bosch dryer for about 3 years.... Recently it has not been starting. I tried taking the filter out last time and it eventually started again after airing out for a day. This time it is not starting at all. The timer works and counts down but it never turns on. Any ideas...could it need new fuses?
If timer is timing down then it has power so fuse is ok. there is no internal fuse. two things to check if you can hear a low humming noise when drum should be turning, then the motor capacitor is faulty - very common fault and part not dear. no need to get bosch part - you should be able to source locally.to test for this fault, take top off and push the drum. if it starts turning then this confirms the fault check also door catch - this operates an internal switch nand if catch is broken then appliance will not start
