Are you using Vista or Xp?

If you are using xp the solution is quite simple.

Restart your computer and when the bootup shows up press F8. Now you should get a list of options including safe mode. Select safe mode. Now when xp shows up Administrator will be a profile. Enter your administrative password and log in. Now remove the program. Then try changing your main account to a standard user and then back to an administrator.

If you are using vista i found this was a bit more difficult, for i encountered the same problem. I created a new account and called it "Amin". Make the new account an administrator. Then log in with the new account and remove the problem. Vista has too many bugs in my opinion.

Hope i could help.

How do i delate games i dont want on from my laptop

If you are on a Windows Operating System, you would click on start - go to Control Panel - find "Add and uninstall programs". There you right click on the program that you don't want and it will let you uninstall from there.

Hi, everytime i try an install via c drive it says it dont exist, i can get it to work but its not installed via c drive like other programs

Did you get the installation of a disk? Are you sure all installation files are in the same folder as the installation itself? Did you try to run it as administrator?

How to remove a program, that is not on the "ADD & REMOVE" list

Try running the program first and seeing if there is any option to remove it that way. If there is not, then you will have to delete all the program data manually.
Enter the C:// drive and look for a file called Program Files. Look for the folder with the name of the program or the program's publisher. If you find the program's, delete the folder and if your find the publisher, enter that folder and delete the program's folder. Some newer systems have Program Files (x86) or (x64), so check there too.
Also, turn on viewing of hidden files. Depending on your operating system, there are multiple ways to do this, google "Viewing hidden files in (insert operating system)". After these are revealed, go back to the C:// drive and enter Documents and Settings, followed by your username. A folder should now be seen which is a lighter color and looks different from others name Application Data. Enter this hidden file and delete the Program folder or enter publisher then delete the program folder.
I hope this helps and apologize if it does not,
-Robert

  • Hi you can remove the "software" from (2) two different areas. 1. If there's a Icon of the Microsoft Genuine... software on the Desktop; (right) click on the software to open, in the next window, select the "Delete" button. Select the Programs and Features. In the next window Uninstall or change a program, find the Microsoft Gen... click on it to uninstall. "Once the process if complete, restart the computer." 2. The second area is from the Desktop, click on the Start button, in the (right menu pane), select the Control Panel, and open the program. In the Programs category, click the "Uninstall a program list," do the same steps as above instructions. "If this helped? "Ratings Feedback is appreciated, thanks"

Program shuts down when starting if for the 2nd time.

The game must have been corrupted.
The only way is to uninstall it then reinstall it again.
Also make sure that your pc meets the system requirements to run the game. Free up your disk space too, before you reinstall the game.

Unexpected shut down when clicking to another area My QUICKEN 2001 has began to shut down when I click to go to another feature...like Savings to Checking, for instance. Now it seems that every time I click...

Hi.
If Quicken is shutting down you won't be able to access your accounts. You need to repair the software first.
All you can do is trying to start in safe mode by pressing F8 on startup and check if Quicken can start in safe mode.
If the problem started recently, you can try doing a system restore to a date before the problem started. You find System restore from Start button at:
Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
If that does not fix the problem, then you need to reinstall Quicken using the software CD and your licence number. If you choose to reinstall on top of the existing installation you wont loose any setting (repair).
If quicken does not reinstall from current account, then create a new account with administrator privileges and then reinstall quicken from the new account.
If you are still not able to remove and reinstall the software you can try using the free Microsoft utility available here to remove recently installed software.
Note: A new Quicken setup does not delete your data, but there is the chance that data had been previously damaged. In that case you can use a recent backup, or try recovering damaged data, see Basic troubleshooting to correct data file damage
Regards.
