im having a wierd problem my toshiba error 03-EEEE-0000 happened right after MYSTICALLY my atheros wireless wouldnt work so i formamtted wen i put in any windows CD it says BAD COMMAND.. same with recovery PLEASE HELP

Windows files has been corrupted, or the hard drive has issues. This is where a backup recovery disc would be ideal, this would prove hardware issues. At this point have the hard drive tested for errors and bad sectors to see if replacement is required.

your HDD may be corrupted, re-installing windows vista is one option. Your best bet is if you have/ can obtain a copy of windows vista run setup and try the repair wizard in the windows vista setup, the wizard automatically finds errors and missing files and replaces them therefore solving any errors in your HDD. you can also try to use the recovery wizard from your recovery disc. best of luck

Sounds like the recovery CDs might be bad. Too bad you don't get a message a little more specific. There might be several methods of recovery--have you told it to do a complete recovery (formatting the hard drive)?

You better you use recovery system that you have them within your laptop by turn it off and then turn it on but press shift with key number zero to start recovery system.

It's under Start > Help and Support. Scroll down and you'll see the recovery program hyperlink.

Here are instructions from their website. Interesting that they dont tell you HOW to launch the recovery wizard. Very helpful
