The same 4 bulk inks

The bad news: Canon does not make any new printers that use those ink tanks. Their line of new consumer printers is the PIXMA series. None of these printers uses the BCI-3 series of ink tanks. I am sorry for the bad news,.. The good news: I have personally been successful in finding used, operational printers for $1 to $5 from local thrift stores and for a little more at local "Recycled, Used, Computer" type of stores. You may even try craigslist and put out a wanted ad for the models below,... anyway I hope this helps you out.
Here is a list of models that use all of the BCI-3e series of Black and Color tanks
Color Printers: i550, s400, s450, s500, s520, s530d s600, s630, s630 Network, s750, all BJC-3000 Series
Multifunction Printers: MultiPass F30, MultiPass F50, MultiPass F60,MultiPass F80
Other Color Printers (partially compatable) i560 & i860 (only uses the BCI-3 black tanks,..but BCI-6 for colors)

I have a home network using a desktop Dell 3000 series computer and want to add a Sony Vaio laptop. My network works ok but I cannot share my Canon i560 printer. Any solutions?

Sony Vaio is operating on Windows 7 and Canon does not supply drivers for my i560 Canon printer. I was able to download a suitable driver from another source. I have since bought a new Epson printer/scanner at a good discount which works well on the Vaio laptop.

Digital replacement for Canon NP 6025

"No" is the answer to all of those questions, and even if it were "yes", purchasing a good quality refurbished digital machine from a reputable supplier, would still be a far cheaper option than all of that.
Not in or around Toronto, are you?

Hi, yes I have problem with my hp psc 2200 series all-in-one printer. I am getting an error mesage that says "hp psc disconnected". I can send items from my computer to the printer and it will...

This is a very old machine. They are only designed to last around 3-4 years. Buying another multifunction from HP is a gamble. My office no longer sells due to warranty claims. You should purchase a new Canon Multifunction. Good luck!

How to redirect lpt print to canon lbp-3000 printer

Here's what you need to do. ON the computer that you want to associate that LPT1 port, you need to know the name of the computer, and the share name of the printer. In this case, I am assuming you have the Canon LBP-3000 physically connected to this system running the FoxPro program.

Step one: Find the computer name. Click on START SETTINGS CONTROL PANEL. Double click SYSTEM. Click on the tab COMPUTER NAME and under FULL COMPUTER NAME, write down the name. Click OK to exit the window.

Step two: Click on START, SETTINGS CONTROL PANEL. Double click PRINTERS AND FAXES. Right click on the Canon LBP-3000 printer and click on SHARE. In the window that opens, click on SHARE THIS PRINTER and take note of the name in SHARE NAME: and write it down. Click on OK to share the printer and exit out of the wizard.

Step three: Click on START, RUN. Type CMD in the box and click OK. in the black window, type NET USE LPT1 \\COMPUTER NAME\SHARE NAME

Follow with RETURN or ENTER and you should be good.
