Ah, don't worry. Computers are really dumb, they rarely do what one wants them to do :-) Do the "regedit" thing I have just posted. It will work! And you can try downloading the latest drivers from your motherboard's manufacturers at: http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Downloads/ProductsDetail_Download.aspx?detailid=812&DetailName=Driver&DetailDesc=&CategoryID=1&MenuID=6&LanID=0 Just download the driver under Realtek High Definition Audio Driver section. You will get the other necessary drivers from the same site too.
